We would like to introduce you to our Fellowship Group at Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ. Every Tuesday evening we meet at the church for a friendship and craft night. Here one may find men and women, experienced crafters and learners, younger and older persons all working together, enjoying each other’s company and having a good time. On the first Tuesday of each month we have a delicious Potluck Dinner at 6:00 p.m.
The Fellowship Group is a very important part of our church. We make craft items as a fund-raising project for our yearly auction or Fall Festival. We also make “tie-Knot” quilts for Youth Network at Smithville (Boy’s Village) and for donation to our annual fund-raisers. Most importantly, Fellowship is meant to be a time where our church people and their friends and families come together to relax, and converse, get to know one another or catch up with someone they already know, and to join in activities whose end product is to be shared with others.
Come and join us for an evening of fellowship and crafting. All materials, tools, and instructions are provided. We need many helping hands. We have persons who do sanding, cutting, sewing (machine and hand), gluing, painting, stuffing, quilting, threading needles, making ornaments, etc. The ideas our members have are endless and fun to work on. All individuals and ideas are welcome.
We meet from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday nights in Centennial Hall. We would love to have you join us!
