Young parents in 1964 started this group as a social organization. The second generation who grew up within Pairs and Spares are now young parents themselves.

Our focus and goal is to promote good fellowship. Pairs and Spares, as the name indicates is open to couples, singles, widows and widowers. All are welcome! Even though it was originated as a "social" group the many talented members have contributed to major renovations at Mt. Zwingli.

We offer group "outings" to Akron Aeros baseball games, we sponsor trips to museums, concerts, Amish Door Dinner Theatre, Goodtime III cruise. We also sponsor euchre and covered dish night, the first Sunday of each month, with the exception of December Christmas Party.

We hold our annual "Cookie & Candy Walk" sale which is open to the community. Our Church families donate all cookies and candy for the sale. This group has something for everyone. There have been may changes within our community and world since 1964 but Pairs and spares continues to function at full speed.
