Pairs & Spares
Pairs and Spares is a unique group within the family of Mt. Zwingli.
Young parents in 1964 started this group as a social organization. The second generation who grew up within Pairs and Spares are now young parents themselves.
Our focus and goal is to promote good fellowship. Pairs and Spares, as the name indicates is open to couples, singles, widows and widowers. All are welcome! Even though it was originated as a "social" group the many talented members have contributed to major renovations at Mt. Zwingli.
We offer several group "outings" each year. We have sponsored trips to baseball games, museums, concerts, theaters, gardens, etc. We also sponsor parlor games and euchre with covered dish supper, the first Sunday of the month, with the exception of December Christmas Party and special outings.
We hold our annual "Cookie and Candy Walk" sale which is open to the community. Our Church families donate all cookies and candy for the sale. This group has something for everyone. There have been may changes within our community and world since 1964 but Pairs and spares continues to function at full speed.
